Job description

Overview:
Job Title: AI-Assisted Developer / AI Product Engineer
Company: R2 Technologies
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid / Remote Options Available)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contractual
About R2 Technologies: R2 Technologies is a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. With over two decades of experience across global markets, we have built a reputation as a trusted partner for IT staffing excellence and cutting-edge digital product innovation. We are driven by innovation and operate on a simple philosophy: "We deliver what we promise, and we promise only what we can deliver." Beyond providing top-tier IT talent, R2 builds cutting-edge proprietary solutions like SmartEnt-an Enterprise AI & IoT Intelligence Platform utilizing advanced NLP and AI technologies. By partnering closely with our clients, we deliver technology-driven outcomes that are realistic, measurable, and impactful.
Job Summary: The days of writing every line of code from scratch are over. R2 Technologies is seeking an AI-Assisted Developer / AI Product Engineer who treats AI coding tools as their pair-programming partner. You will act as the bridge between product strategy and technical execution, utilizing advanced AI coding assistants (like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code) to achieve 10x productivity. Your primary focus will be rapidly prototyping, building, and scaling full-stack applications and integrating our proprietary SmartEnt platform with enterprise client systems. You will not just write code; you will architect prompts, orchestrate LLM workflows, and rigorously validate AI-generated outputs.
Key Responsibilities: * Rapidly prototype and develop end-to-end full-stack applications (using Java Spring Boot, .NET Core, React, or Angular) by heavily leveraging AI coding assistants.
  • Translate high-level business and product requirements into effective system architectures and advanced prompts for AI-driven code generation.
  • Rigorously review, debug, and refactor AI-generated code to ensure it meets strict enterprise standards for security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Integrate internal applications with leading LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini) and construct visual automation workflows using tools like n8n.
  • Implement AI security best practices, recognizing and mitigating risks such as AI hallucinations, insecure dependencies, and prompt injection vulnerabilities in generated code.
  • Collaborate closely with Agentic AI Engineers to build intuitive front-end user interfaces that interact seamlessly with complex, autonomous backend agents.

Qualifications: * Up to 3 years of software development experience in a full-stack environment.
  • Demonstrated power-user proficiency with modern AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Replit AI) and a strong grasp of developer-focused prompt engineering.
  • Solid foundation in modern programming languages (Java 17+, C# .NET 8+, Python) and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, TypeScript).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Critical thinking and debugging skills necessary to evaluate, secure, and optimize AI-generated architectures.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, rapid iteration, and delivering functional product value over manual boilerplate coding.
Skills:
java,dotnet,react,angular
