Job Summary
Directs the daily operations of Security Department of designated entity/location. Daily operations include supervising departmental employees, maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring security needs of the designated entity/location.Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation and security of parking facilities
- Responsible for the investigation and resolution of security reports and criminal activity
- Responsible for the management of patient valuables, firearms, and lost and found items.
- Assist in budget management
- Conducts other assigned duties in emergency/unexpected situations as directed by Hospital Administration or direct leader
- Support Security Lieutenants and support staff in managing staffing/scheduling
- Support Security Lieutenants and support staff in managing payroll
- Assist with required security training to include on-boarding, annual mandatory training and competency validation, and other required training.
- Support Hospital and Security leadership in managing the hospital's workplace violence program.
