Description

We are seeking a professional and charismatic Host/Server to deliver exceptional hospitality, create a welcoming atmosphere, and uphold the highest service standards in the intimate, high-end setting of the Reindeer Room. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for each guest's visit by offering a warm welcome, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating while maintaining the exclusive ambiance of the Reindeer Room. Additionally, in the server role, you will assist with cocktail and food service, ensuring a refined, engaging, and memorable experience for our guests. This position also plays a key role in private parties and exclusive events, helping curate an unforgettable evening for our guests. The Host/Server will report to the F&B Management Team.


This position requires availability on weekends and holidays. 


Key Responsibilities:

 Greet guests warmly and provide an overview of the speakeasy experience.

 Manage reservations and seating to optimize flow and maintain an intimate atmosphere.

 Communicate wait times and assist with guest inquiries.

 Ensure the front-of-house is clean, organized, and aligned with the speakeasy's aesthetic.

 Provide attentive, high-quality table service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

 Present and describe the specialty cocktail menu, offering recommendations based on guest preferences.

 Assist in the timely delivery of cocktails and food, ensuring attention to detail and presentation.

 Assist with plate curation and presentation, ensuring each dish reflects the speakeasy's high standards and aesthetic.

 Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, engaging guests with storytelling and knowledge of the menu.

 Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.

 Maintain a deep understanding of the cocktail and culinary offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.

 Support private parties and exclusive events by providing customized service for our guests.

 Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining and bar areas.

 Maintain cleanliness of the bar, building, patio, and storage areas. 

 Collaborate with the F&B Management and Events Teams during private parties and events to ensure proper setup and a seamless guest experience.

 Enforce SkyPark's quality and safety requirements.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.

 Work as a team with all of SkyPark's personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.

 All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

 1+ years of experience in a host, server, or fine-dining/lounge role.

 Strong ability to curate a guest experience with warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism.

 Knowledge of craft cocktails and a passion for the speakeasy atmosphere is a plus.

 Ability to cater to private parties and events, crafting unique experiences for small, exclusive gatherings.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end setting while maintaining attention to detail.

 Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

 Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and work efficiently under pressure.

 Reliable and punctual attendance with flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 Must have or be willing to obtain required food and alcohol service certifications.
