This role is based at Atlantic Fields Club, a Discovery Land Company property located just outside Hobe Sound, Florida.
Atlantic Fields is seeking a Mixologist to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.
The Mixologist serves as the leader of the Club's beverage program, driving innovation, consistency, and excellence across all bar operations. In partnership with the Food & Beverage Leadership Team, this role is responsible for developing and elevating the cocktail program, creating seasonal and signature beverage offerings, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality are consistently delivered throughout the Club.
As a coach, mentor, and subject matter expert, the Mixologist inspires and develops bartenders and fellow Team Members by sharing technical expertise, refining craft cocktail techniques, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence across both casual and fine dining experiences while delivering genuine hospitality that reflects the luxury service standards of Atlantic Fields and Discovery Land Company. Through creativity, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, the Mixologist helps create memorable experiences for Members, Guests, and fellow Team Members.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Programming

Partner with the Food & Beverage Leadership Team to develop, implement, and continuously elevate a comprehensive beverage program for all Club dining outlets, including the Golf House, Pineapples, Comfort Stations, and special events. Curate innovative craft cocktails, mocktails, and signature beverages that reflect each venue's unique experience while enhancing the overall Member and Guest experience.

Partner with the Food & Beverage Leadership Team to continuously elevate the Club's spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage offerings, ensuring an innovative, high-quality program that enhances the Member and Guest experience.

Develop, standardize, and maintain approved recipes for signature cocktails, seasonal features, and classic cocktails to ensure consistency, quality, and exceptional presentation across all Club outlets.

Develop and oversee a comprehensive program for house-made syrups, mixers, and batched cocktails, creating standardized recipes that ensure consistency, efficiency, and exceptional quality across all Club outlets.

Support inventory management by establishing appropriate par levels, sourcing premium cocktail ingredients, and ensuring all beverage programs are stocked to deliver exceptional quality and service.

Collaborate with the Catering & Events Manager and Food & Beverage Leadership Team to develop customized cocktail and mocktail menus for Club events, creating signature beverage experiences that enhance each event and reflect the Atlantic Fields brand.

Department Oversight:

Champion and uphold the Discovery Land Company Sequence of Service across all beverage outlets, ensuring every Member and Guest receives a consistent, exceptional, and luxury hospitality experience.

Ensure bars are maintained, operated, and monitored throughout the day.

Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Leadership Team to continuously evaluate and refine cocktail menus, beverage pricing, and the overall beverage program to maximize profitability while enhancing the Member and Guest experience.

Support the efficient operation of all bar outlets through active teamwork, clear communication, and a visible presence, fostering collaboration while ensuring seamless service and operational excellence.

Address Member and Guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, ensuring timely resolution and an exceptional hospitality experience.

Develop and implement beverage service procedures and training programs that promote fast, courteous, and efficient service while ensuring consistent adherence to Club standards, safety protocols, and service guidelines.

Oversee the care, maintenance, and proper use of all bar equipment, ensuring it is consistently handled, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with Club standards by all Food & Beverage Team Members.

Ensure full compliance with all applicable government regulations and Club standards related to safety, health, sanitation, and security throughout all beverage operations.

Team Management:

Develop and lead a comprehensive beverage training program for onboarding and continuous professional development, covering spirits and liquor fundamentals, standard bar operations, mixology techniques, Atlantic Fields signature cocktail programming, and the Club's beverage service standards.

Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Leadership Team to mentor, coach, and develop bartenders throughout their employment, providing ongoing feedback, skill development, and performance coaching to elevate the Club's beverage program and service standards.

Provide staffing recommendations to the Food & Beverage Leadership Team to support scheduling decisions and ensure all bar operations are appropriately staffed to deliver exceptional service.

Lead and participate in daily team briefings to communicate key operational updates, reinforce service standards, and provide timely, objective, and constructive coaching and feedback to Team Members.

Financial Management:

Promote the cost-effective use of labor and beverage resources by supporting operational efficiencies, minimizing waste, and maximizing profitability while maintaining the Club's standards of quality and service.

Monitor inventory levels through regular audits, analyzing usage, budget allocations, and product costs to maintain accurate inventory, control expenses, and support operational profitability.

Ensure the cost-effective use of labor and operational resources by optimizing staffing levels, controlling expenses, and upholding Discovery Land Company policies while maintaining the Club's standards of quality and service.

Minimize product loss, breakage, and waste through effective inventory controls, proper handling practices, and ongoing team accountability to support operational efficiency and cost management.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the Club and ensure operational excellence.

Skills & Qualifications:

Four (4) or more years of progressive experience in mixology or bartending within a full-service hospitality environment, preferably at a luxury private club, high-end restaurant, resort, or hotel.

Beverage Certification from an internationally recognized institution, preferred.

Experience with luxury or international Food & Beverage service standards and operations is preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of elevated hospitality and beverage management practices.

Knowledgeable of HACCP & local food safety standards.

Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) and hospitality operations software, with experience using TEI or similar systems preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.

Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions; standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving for extended periods; and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
