Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for delivery and invoicing of product in accordance with Company guidelines/policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Perform the check out for the product on delivery truck as beginning inventory, ensure count matches inventory truck levels, make necessary inventory adjustments, report inventory count to opening manager, load all assigned delivery equipment, close all trailer doors.
- Complete pre-trip to include inspection of vehicle, check fuel, oil and water levels of vehicle, check brakes, tires and lights, adjust all mirrors for safe operation of equipment, check and secure the hand cart, Geotab and DOT ELD compliance.
- Service all customers scheduled for the day.
- When arriving at an account, greet decision maker, when possible, review all invoicing with receiver at check-in to ensure accuracy, and discuss instructions for display/merchandising of products, make note of any uncompetitive activities for later discussion with supervisor.
- Responsible to unload product from truck onto a two-wheeler or transport pallets using electric pallet jacks into the customer's location.
- Must issue credits for product misloads/shortages, Damaged, Out of Date, and Returned products and load empty shells, pallets, and trash for return to warehouse.
- When leaving a customer location all attempts should be made to correct any minor service issues.
- Maintain product quality by reviewing the date codes on inventory for out-of-date product. Rotate product. Clean and maintain the selling area, maintain proper merchandising standards. Fill any coolers, racks, displays, or beverage shelving in all areas of account.
- Must have the ability to identify and understand customer requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements
COMPETENCIES: Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skill.
Follow good housekeeping practices. Follow/comply with all safety guidelines, wear designated PPE.
Be properly attired when arriving at work to include - proper uniform (clean and pressed), hat (Coke identified only), black hard toe polished shoes (no tennis shoes), facial hair that is professional looking, meaning the facial hair is groomed, trimmed, short, and maintained in such a way as to not be ragged, sloppy, scraggly, or patchy, hair well groomed, and good personal hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have a Valid Class "A" CDL license.
- Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read. Ability to respond to Customer and employee inquires. Good communication skill required.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied both written and verbal.
Computer Skills: General computer skills required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Class "A" CDL license, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Other Skills and Abilities: None.
Other Qualifications: Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack to lift/move product.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Required daily.

The employee must lift, carry, push/pull and/or move up to 10 to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision.
