What Does a Distribution Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Responsibilities:
  • Manage human capital efficiently ensuring proper delivery according to planned volume, customer expectations and internal policies
  • Train, develop and evaluate drivers to efficiently deliver and merchandise product
  • Communicate daily with the delivery team to create visibility while fostering a culture of trust and productivity
  • Communicate with sales, fleet, warehouse, and other partners to ensure business operations are as efficient as possible
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
  • 2+ years' experience supervising delivery staff in distribution related industry required
  • Knowledge of DOT Federal state regulations/guidelines preferred
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with the other departments and functions
  • Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
  • CLASS A CDL is preferred
  • Occasional work on weekends and holidays is required
