Job description

Position Summary:
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely delivering Coca-Cola products to customer accounts as scheduled and ensuring each stop is serviced efficiently, professionally, and accurately. This role maintains strong customer relationships, ensures product displays are well-stocked and visually appealing, and represents the company with integrity and professionalism at every account.

Market Assignment:
This position serves the Central Market, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Durham, Southpoint, and Morrisville.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently deliver Coca-Cola products as invoiced to customer accounts within the assigned route.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with account personnel.

  • Ensure all product displays are fully stocked, properly rotated, and maintained to company standards — including shelves, coolers, fast lanes, and promotional displays.

  • Arrange and merchandise products in accordance with company policies to maximize visibility and sales.

  • Maintain, organize, and rotate inventory in customer backrooms as needed.

  • Account daily for all product, cash, and assets handled during deliveries.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety readiness.

  • Complete all delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must meet and maintain DOT medical certification requirements.

  • Excellent driving record, particularly over the last 7 years (a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed).

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repetitively and perform physically demanding work.

  • Willingness to work one weekend per month and some holidays as scheduled.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and self-motivation.

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

  • Prior experience in route delivery, product stocking, merchandising, or retail preferred.

  • Must pass the company’s background check, Motor Vehicle Report review, and drug screening.
