Job Description Summary:

Position Overview/Summary

As our Warehouse Coordinator, you will provide competent and effective administrative support to our warehouse plant operations.

Position Related Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiencies in in Microsoft Office Lotus notes/ Datamatics/Kronos computer applications, fax and copy machine, 10 key calculator
  • Operate as a SAP power end users; write training documents and work-aids.
  • Answer delivery gates; assign shipments to dock, assign work to loaders, print paperwork, 100% accuracy is expected.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. Track distress and destruction product. Investigate and resolve all inventory inaccuracies timely per policy. Recommend resolution for chronic inventory inaccuracies. Assist in management of outside storage facility inventory, shipments, and shuttles.
  • Manage the flow of inventory data & availability, and the replenishment of non-plant produced items. Ensure customer service & transportation freight objectives are achieved, monitor outside warehouse shuttle activity, supporting plant operations via performance reports, review on hand inventories and move SLOCs accordingly between Chino and Anaheim in SAP.
  • Schedule appointments with carriers, review workload and balance between shifts and the Anaheim building. Take immediate action to resolve any inventory shorts for loads. Communicate with Customers, Transportation, Distribution, and Customer Service relative to meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Man the main telephone line and direct calls to appropriate place, receive visitors/ maintain the Visitor's Log, issues visitor badges; Any other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years related administrative experience, preferred.
