Job description

Primary Function:
The Fountain Equipment Service Technician is responsible for delivering, installing, and servicing fountain equipment at Rand Coca-Cola customer accounts. This position ensures that all equipment is maintained to company standards, delivering high-quality performance and customer satisfaction.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver and install fountain equipment at customer locations in accordance with Rand Coca-Cola’s guidelines and procedures.

  • Perform field service, maintenance, and repairs on all types of fountain equipment to ensure consistent product quality and reliability.

  • Maintain a professional relationship with account personnel, providing excellent customer service during every service call.

  • Attend and successfully complete all required Coca-Cola Certification Training programs.

  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times, following all safety standards and company policies.

  • Submit all service invoices within 24 hours of completing calls.

  • Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and clean company vehicle.

  • Dispose of all trash and debris from company vehicles daily using appropriate containers (e.g., recycling or trash bins).

  • Maintain the lower warehouse interior and exterior in a clean and orderly condition on a daily basis.

  • Support company athletic and special events as needed.

  • Participate in a scheduled “on call” rotation, including nights and weekends, as required.

  • Work beyond normal hours when necessary to complete service calls before the end of the standard shift (4:30 p.m.).

  • Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in appliance, electrical, or refrigeration repair.

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and ability to interpret wiring diagrams and specifications.

  • Valid North Carolina Driver License with an excellent driving record (7-year Motor Vehicle Report required).

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds frequently and 55 pounds overhead occasionally.

  • Ability to push, pull, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb stairs/ladders, bend, and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required certifications.

  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and dependability with the ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally.

  • Must successfully pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Report review, and company drug testing requirements.
