Job description

  • Shift: Full Time, open to all shifts

  • Salary: $50.56 per hour for candidates who successfully pass the required skills assessment and meet all hiring requirements

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment  
  • Perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts 
  • Utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) 
  • Perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system 
  • Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution  
  • As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating advanced equipment diagnostics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reliability practices, continuous improvement, equipment optimization, commissioning, and technical leadership capabilities. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
