JOB Posting

JOB TITLE: Circle of Boating Dockhand

DEPARTMENT: Management

REPORTS TO: Circle of Boating Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The COB Dockhand may be the first person our guests interact with when arriving to the marina. It is important that they deliver a superior marina experience to all of our guests. COB Dockhands assist the Circle of Boating Manager and other Dockhands in all duties related to the marina. They do so while being friendly, positive, and accommodating. They will also keep the area clean, safe, and well

maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Maintain accurate dock walk, rent roll, and occupancy reports
  2. Routinely operates, motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment
  3. Assists the Circle of Boating Manager and other Dockhands in marina related duties such as securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services (power, water and telephone), black water pump out, waste disposal and facility sanitation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets

2. Ability to organize and prioritize work

3. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and corporate goals

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
