Job description

DESCRIPTION: (Including but not limited to)

Key Functions:

  • Perform Multiple tasks to include inspection, cleaning, masking, grit blasting, Glass Bead peening and coating of components
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to correctly use measuring devices (i.e. micrometers, Dial Indicators, etc.)
  • Ability to follow, interpret and act on written and verbal job instructions, reports, technical manuals and data
  • Operate coating booths as required
  • Practice and ensure good shop safety practices
  • Monitors tool and equipment calibration
  • Input process data into system
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • 2-4 years of previous Thermal Spray operation experience
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully communicate with others
  • Ability to follow material control processes

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to operate fork trucks
  • Able to stand for 8+ hour shifts
  • Heavily focused attention to detail
