Front Desk Attendant - PT

Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. The Club provides employees with opportunities to contribute to essential operations. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include answering any question a member might have and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally, all while upholding the club's high standards of hospitality and member satisfaction.

The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for being the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors while exhibiting a polite and professional demeanor.

Greeting guests entering the organization and directing them to their correct destination, dealing with inquiries from our members and the public

Answering the telephone and operating a switchboard

Responsible for the organization and appearance of the Front Desk, lobby, reception area and coat room.

Excellent communication skills and phone manner with effective listening skills and the ability to speak clearly.

Knowledge of greater Arlington, local roads and landmarks is useful in this position.

Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels with good display of initiative and willingness to contribute to the success of the organization.

Experience and exceptional aptitude in customer service

Proficient knowledge of computers, email and all Microsoft Office programs

Knowledge of operating office machines including copier, fax machine, printer and laminating machine.

This position is required to perform various administrative support tasks for the managers, catering office, administrative and other staff as needed.

Willingness to assist as a Coat Check Attendant as needed.

Army Navy Country Club is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to work part-time weekday and weekend morning and/or evening shifts. This position requires working major holidays (Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving). There is no set schedule. The Front Desk shifts are based on the needs of the business.

Average of 15-20 hours per week during busy season.

Front Desk Open: Tuesday - Sunday

- During the week: Evening shifts

- Weekends: Morning and evening shifts
