Job description


We are looking for an Industrial Spray Painter/Powder Coater to ensure parts are properly washed and painted according to customer specifications and quality standards. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.
Job Duties:
  • Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat various parts as required
  • Conduct quality checks, including first piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Load parts onto the line correctly for optimal capacity and adjust hanging patterns when necessary
  • Apply powder to parts online using an electrostatic paint gun and hang color tags for paint color changes
  • Apply plugs or tape to parts
  • Utilize measuring devices to ensure top-notch quality
  • Sand and/or rectify parts and troubleshoot as necessary
  • Clean and maintain equipment and perform housekeeping tasks
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Carry out any other assigned duties

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of powder coat process and paint line maintenance
  • Experience operating machinery and/or power tools
  • Ability to manage inventory products
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, and effective time management skills required
  • Comfortable with repetitive motions, standing for prolonged periods, wearing safety gear, and lifting 30+ pounds
