Your Role
As a CDL Driver, you'll safely operate a Container Delivery Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.
What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a Container Delivery Truck on assigned routes.
  • Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
  • Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
  • Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
  • At Coastal, we win as a team. Once you've completed your route, you'll jump in to help a teammate finish theirs or assist with other operational needs as directed by management. Working together is part of what makes us successful.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

What You'll Bring
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
  • Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
