Job description

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Project Manager job in Stratford, CT. This permanent hire job is available with one of our key customers in coastal engineering services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of waterfront and shoreline infrastructure projects. To be successful in this position, you must have a background in Civil, Waterfront, Coastal, or Structural Engineering and a thorough understanding of coastal structural systems

Project Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for coastal and marine infrastructure projects, including the development of construction plans, specifications, permitting documentation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and client communications.
  • Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and contributing to proposal and business development activities.
  • Partner with environmental scientists, planners, naval architects, and other technical specialists to provide integrated solutions for marine and waterfront infrastructure projects.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships while representing the organization in marketing, networking, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal, or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Candidates pursuing licensure will also be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of coastal and waterfront infrastructure systems, structural design, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
