Therapist-Child and Adolescent Day Treatment

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc., a recognized leader in substance abuse, mental health, rape crisis, prevention and criminal justice services in southeastern North Carolina, has an opportunity for a Therapist for our Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Program in Bladen County, NC.

JOB TITLE: Therapist- Child and Adolescent Day Treatment

Provides a full range of substance use and mental health disorder therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families. Primary duties include counseling children, adolescents, and their families - with much of this taking place at various school sites. Performs regular therapist functions during school vacations and summer months.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited program with a master's degree in a human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • LICSENSE: Possession of North Carolina licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage, and Family Therapist
