Orangetheory Fitness is a popular heart rate-based interval training fitness organization with 1300+ locations in the US. We are currently seeking qualified coaches who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients.
Orangetheory Fitness Coaches deliver scientifically pre-designed workouts for up to 45 clients per session. They have a strong ability to coach members of all abilities, effectively manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. You will create studio culture, increase workout utilization and build the studio membership base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 45 clients
  • Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions
  • Build session attendance and retain current clientele
  • Ensure safety of participants in regards to exercise technique and standard health and safety protocols
  • Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
  • Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
  • Handle member concerns 
  • Partner with the front desk team on membership and heart rate monitor sales
  • Make customer care calls
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
  • Current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, AFAA
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ years experience as a fitness trainer, group fitness trainer or personal trainer in the fitness industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs​.
