Overview

Waters Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated high school Co-Op plumbing student to work in the building maintenance department at our Milford campus. This student will assist licensed plumbers in all aspects of the building's plumbing systems in a large office, manufacturing, and laboratory facility. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to get into the trades and you will gain hands-on experience in the facilities environment.

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a licensed plumber, participate in both preventive and corrective maintenance work on plumbing equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in large office, manufacturing, and laboratory facilities
  • Learn to operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Under direction of supervisor, work with outside vendors on projects for plumbing systems
  • Perform other building maintenance tasks as required
  • Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Must have completed Junior Year of High School
  • Able to climb ladders and not afraid of heights
  • Computer literacy with basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions  
  • Operates with integrity, transparency, and has good work ethic
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations  
  • Physically capable to perform frequent walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, lifting and carrying, and tolerate exposure to warm and cold temperatures
