About the Role - You will:
  • Gain practical experience in a hands-on environment with ownership of real projects and process improvements.
  • Work on projects and programs currently in progress, which allows co-ops to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business.
  • Assist with various projects split across the key areas of production.
  • Support Process Engineering Staff with production operations support, continuous improvement, and design for manufacturability, and change management/new product release.
  • Coordinate with internal customers in areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Have opportunities to propose new ideas, improvement concepts, see those ideas implemented, and understand the impact engineers can make.
  • Work with a mentor that will support and be a resource for you during your co-op assignment.

About You:
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal styles and techniques to influence at all levels of the organization.

Your Experience Includes:
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's program in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Completed at least 1 year of full-time instruction.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Apply the theory from college/university coursework to real-world scenarios/situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

You might also have:
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • Ability to be proactive in communication with all levels within the organization.
  • Understanding of problem-solving steps and processes to apply in a real-world situation.

Temporary Housing: Potentially Available.

Length of Co-op: Rotating Semesters, Target total length of 1 year.
