Job Details:
  • Locations: San Jose, CA or Santa Clara, CA
  • Onsite/Hybrid:This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term
Duration:
  • Spring/Summer Co-op: January 15, 2027 - August 13, 2027
  • Summer Internship:
    • Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
    • Quarter Students: June 21, 2027 - September 10, 2027
  • Summer/Fall Co-op:
    • Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027
    • Quarter Students: June 21, 2027 - December 10, 2027
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Do you want to help improve experiences ofgroundbreakingAMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We areseekingahighly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op and in this role:

  • You will collaborate with Engineers andbe responsible forsome of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.
  • We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well aslarge scalesystems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.
WHOWEARELOOKINGFOR:
  • You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –
    • C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.
    • ASICdesign andverification.
    • ML and AI.
    • System/Boarddesign,circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design.
    • Hardwareautomation,validationandtest.
    • UNIX and JTAG tools.
    • Pre-silicon and/orpost-silicon platforms.
    • Computer architecture, CPU & GPUarchitecture.
