Job description

An Aerospace Design Engineering Co-Op job in Bellevue, WA is currently available at Belcan supporting a Boeing military test program. To be considered for this role, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college. The Academic to Industry (A2I) co-op experience includes dedicated professional development, mentoring, and meaningful technical opportunities based on your career goals! As a design co-op you will support actual engineering releases by modifying models and drawings for real engineering releases. Possibly including details, assemblies, and installations.
*Must be available for full-time Co-Op September through December 2026, with potential to carry through February 2027*
Job Duties:
* Work with client-integrated product teams to develop detailed designs of structural components
* Develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems which require ingenuity and innovation
* Works according to established guidelines and schedules
* Collaboration with client-integrated product teams
* Engineering support for various functional areas (manufacturing, materials, structures, electrical, etc.)
Requirements:
* Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college; working toward an aeronautical/Astronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil degree
* Must be available for full-time Co-Op September through December 2026, with potential to carry through February 2027
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Preferred:
* Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred though other 3D CAD Packages can be considered
* Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
* Effective oral and written collaborative engineering environment communication skills
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering apay rate of $28/hr however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
