Job description

We are looking for a co-op student available for 4, 8 and 12 months starting January 2026.


  • Participate in preliminary estimates and details with the use of the guidelines for the projects relating to the field of Municipal Infrastructure
  • Take part in design calculations and plans to ensure matching to the guidelines, the code requirements and other regulations
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with clients in order to define their needs; explain technical information, concepts or study results
  • Produce statements of quantities and prepare the budget assessments
  • Verify and complete requests for proposals (RFPs), estimates and other technical documents
  • Draft or proofread parts of the proposal, prepare documents for submittal
  • Assist the project manager when help is needed. Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to take initiative, pay attention to details, and work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Knowledge and /or experience with the following a definite plus: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Heavy Bid
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the design of municipal infrastructure projects preferred
  • Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills
