Role Overview:

The SAP FCM Business Analyst III is responsible for the assessment, planning, execution, support, and continuous improvement of SAP Financial and Controlling Management (FCM) solutions for Hyundai Motors Manufacturing. This role serves as the key functional expert for SAP FCM modules, including Controlling (CO) 90% and Financial Accounting (FI) 10%, while supporting integrated business processes across Sales, Materials Management, and Production Planning. The analyst acts as a strategic liaison between local business stakeholders and Hyundai Motor Group Korea HQ, collaborating to implement global FCM standards, best practices, system enhancements, and ERP initiatives. The position is accountable for delivering SAP projects, enhancements, and production support services while ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, service quality, compliance, and protection of confidential financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the assessment, estimation, design, testing, implementation, and support of SAP FCM‑related projects, system enhancements, and break/fix activities across supported SAP ERP environments.
  • Serve as the primary functional expert for SAP FCM modules, including FI and CO, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective SAP solutions that support financial and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with Hyundai Motor Group Korea HQ and global SAP teams to align local business processes with corporate standards, drive FCM best practices, and support global ERP initiatives.
  • Partner with business users and stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) to identify process improvements, resolve issues, and optimize system functionality.
  • Coordinate the delivery of SAP enhancements and support services by leveraging internal and external resources, ensuring solutions are delivered cost‑effectively without compromising quality.
  • Manage service delivery activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, user support, and SLA compliance, to maintain stable and efficient SAP operations.
  • Safeguard confidential financial and operational information while ensuring adherence to company policies, audit requirements, security standards, and SAP governance practices.
Must have Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands‑on SAP experience in configuration, development, or support within SAP MM, PP, SD, or related ERP functional areas, with strong SAP FCM business process understanding.
  • 7+ years of ERP project execution and delivery experience, including leading strategy development, implementation planning, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong business analysis and solution design skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, fit‑gap assessments, and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users, management, executives, and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership capabilities, including challenging the status quo, driving process improvements, and influencing decision‑making across a matrix organization.
  • Experience working in global and cross‑functional environments, collaborating effectively with multiple business partners, remote teams, and technology groups while managing competing priorities.

  • Experience in repetitive and discrete manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of end‑to‑end manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and IT leadership to align SAP solutions with organizational objectives and operational needs.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to team members while influencing decisions related to system enhancements, project prioritization, and process improvements.
  • Accountable for ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives, adoption of best practices, and delivery of measurable business value through SAP solutions.
