Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyze purchasing and vendor data to track and identify cost-saving opportunities and generate actionable insights.
  • Trend & Spend Analysis: Monitor indirect vendor spend patterns, market trends, and historical performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Supply Chain Segmentation Review: Assist in categorizing and segmenting indirect suppliers based on spend, criticality, risk, and operational impact.
  • Dashboard Support: Build and update visual reports and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical background with experience manipulating and interpreting data.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling); familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, procurement concepts, or vendor management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex data into clear findings.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
