Co-Dough is a fast-growing bakery built on quality, consistency, and hospitality. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to create structure, improve efficiency, and ensure that every aspect of the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the systems that support the bakery's daily operations. This position focuses on inventory management, purchasing, production planning, process improvement, food safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in developing systems that allow a business to grow while maintaining consistency and quality.

ResponsibilitiesInventory & Purchasing
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate counts
  • Order ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Monitor product usage and identify purchasing trends
  • Ensure all deliveries are received, organized, and stored properly
Production Planning
  • Coordinate production schedules based on sales trends and projected demand
  • Monitor product availability and communicate production needs to the team
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency
  • Reduce product shortages and minimize waste
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and create solutions
  • Improve workflows and establish systems that support growth
  • Ensure all processes are documented and consistently followed
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled, dated, and stored
  • Monitor compliance with all company policies and procedures

Reporting & Analysis
  • Analyze sales trends and operational data
  • Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Develop reports related to inventory, waste, and production performance
  • Provide recommendations that support operational growth
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of operations experience in a bakery, restaurant, food production, or hospitality environment
  • Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Experience creating and implementing operational systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
