Job Title: Registration Clerk
Location: Monticello, Illinois
Department: Admitting
Position Type: PRN
Hours per week:
Schedule: Monday to Sunday All Shifts
Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays beginning in 2027
Hourly Rate: $16.05-$18.43
*Compensation dependent on experience

Kirby Medical Center is looking for an outgoing and driven individual to join our registration team. This high customer-focused position will work directly with patients to register for care in our beautiful facility. If you have an outgoing personality who can relate to many, then this could be the perfect fit!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls professionally and direct them to the proper department.
  • Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity; ensure confidentiality of patients' records.
  • Register patients for scheduled admissions and outpatient procedures.
  • Collect and document insurance information correctly.
  • Collect co-pays when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized, and function well in stressful situations.
