Job Summary:

The SAP CO Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of SAP experience and deep expertise in Controlling (CO) within a manufacturing environment. This role will be heavily focused on sales order costing, production order costing, product costing, and CO-PA, while partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP professional who can independently analyze complex business requirements, troubleshoot issues, design solutions, and drive SAP CO initiatives from concept through implementation.

What you will be doing
  • Lead SAP CO functional support, enhancements, and projects.
  • Provide expert-level support for Sales Order Costing, including costing strategies, configuration, analysis, and integration with SD.
  • Manage and support Production Order Costing, including planned/actual costs, variances, settlements, and integration with PP.
  • Support Product Costing / Standard Costing, cost estimates, BOM/routing integration, and cost rollups.
  • Design, implement, and support CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), including characteristics, value fields/accounts, derivations, allocations, and profitability reporting.
  • Support Product Cost by Order, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profit Center Accounting.
  • Analyze costing and profitability issues and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
  • Partner with manufacturing and finance teams to improve costing, profitability, and management reporting processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP CO solutions.
  • Lead testing, documentation, configuration, and deployment of SAP CO changes.
  • Support integration between CO, FI, SD, MM, and PP.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and improved financial visibility.
  • Core Expertise:Sales Order Costing | Production Order Costing | Product Costing | CO-PA | Manufacturing | FI/CO Integration | PP Integration | SAP S/4HANA.
What will make you successful?
  • 10+ years of SAP experience, with significant hands-on SAP CO experience.
  • A hands-on SAP CO professional who understands both the financial and operational sides of manufacturing and can connect sales order product/production costing actual costs profitability within SAP.
  • Strong expertise in Sales Order Costing and Production Order Costing.
  • Deep experience with CO-PA / Profitability Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Product Costing and Standard Costing.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong integration knowledge across CO, FI, SD, MM, and PP.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
