🚨 NOW HIRING: CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic
📍 Location: Franklin, MA 02038 (Onsite)

🕒 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
📅 Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Employment-based visa sponsorship is not available for this engagement.


We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of CNC electro-mechanical control systems and precision machining equipment.


The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, CNC machine experience, and a hands-on approach to preventive and corrective maintenance.


🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and repair a diverse range of machining equipment, including 5-axis milling machines, mill-turns, EDMs, Laser-Swiss, CNC lathes, motion control systems, mist collectors, ovens, and stamping machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems down to the component level.
• Identify improvements to preventive maintenance instructions, asset BOMs, and machine designs.
• Detect machine abnormalities using real-time data such as servo load, temperature, vibration, and acoustics.
• Support predictive maintenance, zero-breakdown, and zero-product-defect initiatives.
• Perform basic maintenance activities including inspections, leak detection, filter changes, PMs, and tank cleanout.


🔹 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems on CNC machine shop equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, performance specifications, and operating requirements.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and ladder logic systems.
• Ability to program and operate CNC equipment to verify maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools and operate a forklift.


🔹 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, and Mazatrol CNC controllers.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC and servo drive hardware/software.
• Experience maintaining and repairing CNC equipment from manufacturers such as:
• Mazak
• KERN
• Tsugami
• Eurotech
• Rofin
• Fanuc EDM
• Maier
• Citizen
• 2+ years of Ballbar testing and analysis preferred.
• Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Welding experience is a plus.
