Job description

Continuously growing, a company in Middleboro, MA is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for a full-time temporary to permanent position on 1st OR 2nd shift.

Responsibilities of CNC Machinist:

-Configure CNC machines to exact measurements indicated on designs and drawings

-Set-up and operate CNC mills; stopping and starting machines as needed

-Monitor machines ensuring measurements and specifications are consistently met, making adjustments as needed

-Develop and prove out new CNC machining programs and procedures

-Create new tooling and fixtures as needed

-Submit and perform in-process inspections

- Maintain fluid and lubricant levels and remove scrap metal from machines

-Report any equipment or tooling failures

-Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports

-Follow all work instructions and work orders

-Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements of CNC Machinist:

-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

-1-5 years CNC Machinist experience

-Previous experience working in manufacturing environment preferred

-Basic Understanding of speed and feed calculation  and  proper tooling selection

-Able to read and understand blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

-Process knowledge of trigonometry and geometry math applications

-Familiar with precision measuring tools

-Able to list and carry up to 40lbs

-Great attention to detail

Hours: 1st Shift: 4:30am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday

OR 2nd Shift 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday


Payrate: $27-$40/hr based on experience
