Travel EDM Operator

Pay: $40.00/hour

Location: Travel Assignment

Duration: Contract

Per Diem: Available for qualified travelers

Hours: Full-Time + Overtime Opportunities

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled EDM Operator for a travel assignment supporting precision manufacturing operations. This position is focused on loading, running, unloading, and inspecting parts on Wire EDM and Sinker EDM equipment. Setup responsibilities are performed by EDM Machinists.

Candidates with EDM experience are preferred, but skilled CNC Lathe Operators with strong machining backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM equipment.
  • Load and unload precision-machined components.
  • Run established machine programs.
  • Monitor machine operation and production quality.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Handle extremely small, delicate parts with care.
  • Document production and inspection results.
  • Report quality or machine concerns.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.
QualificationsRequired
  • CNC machine operating experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn EDM processes.
Preferred
  • Previous EDM operating experience.
  • CNC Lathe experience.
