Job description

Openwork is engaged in a search for a Weekend Nights CNC Operator for precision machining company specializing in the Oil & Gas industry in the Pearland area. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
**Must have experience with CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls**
In the CNC Operator position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Operate a CNC machine

  • Oversee the daily functions of the CNC Lathe

  • Precision measurement of product using Calipers and Micrometers

  • Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance

  • Handle materials appropriately and safely

What you'll need:

  • Familiarity with precision measurement equipment (e.g.- Calipers, Micrometers)

  • Experience operating CNC Machines Experience level will determine pay rate

  • Experience with CNC Lathes with Okuma or Fanuc control

  • Experience with Twin Spindle or Twin Turrets is a PLUS!

  • Ability to work independently

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs repeatedly
