Job description

Description:

The Multi-Turret CNC Machinist will operate CNC multi-turret lathes to manufacture precision components while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Candidates with setup experience are encouraged to apply, but setup experience is a plus—not a requirement. We are willing to train the right individual who has a machining background and a desire to grow.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate multi-turret CNC lathes to produce precision machined parts. 
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation. 
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
  • Make basic machine offset adjustments as needed. 
  • Monitor machine performance and notify supervisors of tooling or quality concerns.      
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures. 
  • Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations. 
  • Assist with machine setups when needed and continue developing setup skills. 
Requirements:
  • Previous CNC machining experience preferred. 
  • Experience operating CNC lathes or turning centers is a plus. 
  • Experience with Miyano machines is a plus, but not required. 
  • Machine setup experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and use common precision measuring tools. 
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. 
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
