CNC Machinist Job Description:

PrideStaff is assisting a local engineering and machining company who is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their growing team. The CNC Machinist will set up, program jobs, as well as operate and maintain factory machinery. The ideal CNC Machinist has previous experience operating CNC machines for metal under tight tolerances and is motivated, reliable, and has a desire to contribute as part of a team. The CNC Machinist is a full-time, direct hire in Newark, NY.

CNC Machinist Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up & Operate CNC Machines to Produce High-Quality Metal Parts According to Technical Specifications
  • Perform Efficient Machine Setups, Including Tool Changes, Offsets, & Workholding Adjustments to Minimize Downtime
  • Perform Routine Daily Maintenance on Equipment & Maintain a Clean, Organized Workspace in Compliance With Safety Standards
  • Effectively Work With Other Internal & External Groups Including Customer, Purchasing & Engineering
  • Operate Several Machines at One Time & Assist With Training Others as Needed
  • Maintain Accurate Records & Documentation For Work Performed

CNC Machinist Job Requirements:
