CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR to join our team. The CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to manufacture precision components to exact specifications. This position requires advanced machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work from blueprints and engineering drawings. 
 
Pay Rate 
$35.00 to $45.00 per hour DOE
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 
 
CNC Programmer/Operator Duties and Responsibilities 
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components 
• Use GibbsCAM software to create and optimize CNC programs 
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for production runs 
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders 
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges 
• Maintain close tolerances and ensure all finished products meet quality standards 
• Perform equipment setup, tool changes, and machine adjustments as needed 
• Identify and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity 
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area 
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and timely 
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel to improve manufacturing processes 
 
CNC Programmer/Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• High school diploma or GED required 
• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and machining experience preferred 
• GibbsCAM experience required 
• Experience with Mazak equipment required 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings 
• Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds 
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
