Job description

Resolute Performance Iron (a Sletten Company) is a specialty steel contractor seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to complete projects in our shop in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components according to specifications. The majority of our work is in the steel construction industry and solar energy construction.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work quickly, productively, and safely without error and consistently meet production goals as set forth by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager
  • Consistently produce quality workmanship as judged by Company standards
  • Comply with all company safety and personnel policies
  • Set up and operate press brake machines for various metal fabrication tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Fabricate metal components by bending, shaping, and forming materials as required
  • Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions, angles, and tolerances
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production deadlines
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues with machinery or production processes as they arise.
  • Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating CNC press brake machines is preferred
  • Knowledge of programming CNC press brake is preferred
