Manufacturing Supervisor with CC Setup/ Programming exp Open$$โ€™s Benefits: annual and quarterly bonus program, 401k, health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, vacation/sick paid time off Onsite Yonkers Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor with CNC Set-up/Programming experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in manufacturing supervision with the ability to operate CNC machinery and supervise CNC operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in a supportive and hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: ยท Oversee production functions in roughing and machining. ยท Establish manufacturing priorities and allocate the resources. ยท Direct and mentor staff to produce quality products on time. ยท Assist and train operators in the setup and programming of CNC machines. ยท Set up and program machines on an ongoing basis. ยท Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and inspection plans. ยท Load/unload parts, inspect work using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). ยท Monitor machines for proper operation and remediate issues. ยท Perform basic machine maintenance (change tooling, clean area, etc.). ยท Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced Additional Responsibilities ยท Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedure. ยท Establish and maintain a standard of performance for the operation. ยท Set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations. ยท Ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality. ยท Drive accountability using coaching and support and performance management. ยท Assess operations staffing and skill requirements. Develop plans to address needs. ยท Implement manufacturing best practice tools and processes. ยท Ensure compliance with environmental policies, systems and processes. ยท Drive process improvement. Qualifications: ยท 3 years supervisory experience (5 to 8 employees) ยท 10 years of CNC machine setup and programming experience. ยท Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus. ยท Strong attention to detail and quality. ยท Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
