Job description

CNC Operator โ€“ 2nd Shift (2:00 PM โ€“ 10:00 PM)

Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating stone CNC machines, including sawjets and routers, to ensure accurate and efficient production in accordance with fabrication drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings to execute production tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Set up CNC machines and run programs according to the production schedule.
  • Follow all procedures established by management, including daily tool dressing and tool calibration.
  • Identify and address quality concerns immediately, communicating directly with the Operations Manager or Production Coordinator.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines as required.
  • Uphold Classic Rock's Core Values in every aspect of daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Company's mission, vision, and operational success.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly perform physical activities including reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and handling materials.
  • Lift materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • No special vision requirements.

Work Environment

  • Indoor, non-temperature-controlled fabrication facility.
  • Noise levels typically range from loud to very loud.
  • Steel-toe or rubber boots are required in all production areas.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

  • Forklift Certification required (training provided by Classic Rock's certified trainer). Certification must be renewed every three years.
