About the Role:
The CNC Machinist is a full-time, onsite precision manufacturing role in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for candidates searching for CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, Machine Operator, or Production Machinist opportunities. The role focuses on producing precision components, inspecting parts to engineering drawings, making machine adjustments, managing tooling, and maintaining consistent quality in a regulated, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Opportunities are available across multiple shifts, with initial training typically completed on first shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
  • Measure and inspect machined parts using appropriate precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to print.
  • Make CNC machine offsets and process adjustments during production runs to maintain tolerances, part quality, and process consistency.
  • Change cutting tools, inserts, and other tooling as required, and monitor tool wear throughout production.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, routine equipment checks, and general troubleshooting to support equipment reliability and production uptime.
  • Monitor machining operations for quality issues, dimensional variation, abnormal tool wear, and other conditions that could affect finished components.

  • Support production goals by maintaining efficient cycle times, minimizing scrap, and operating multiple machines when trained and qualified.

Qualifications:

  • Previous CNC machining, CNC machine operation, or precision manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Experience measuring machined components and performing in-process inspection using precision measurement equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC offsets, including the ability to explain when and how offsets are adjusted during a production run.
