Our client in Irwin is seeking a Machinist to join the team
Position will be on a 1st shift day light
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and other tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Utilize measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) to ensure precision.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery.
- Must be able to wear a respirator (clean-shaven face required) and steel-toed boots throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
