Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for CNC Operators with Programming Experience in the Quad City area. As a CNC Operator/Programmer you will Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Responsibilities for the CNC Operator/Programmer include:

• Read, review and apply blueprints, and schematics
• Drilling, grooving and cutting
• Vertical and Horizontal Lathe, use of Manual Lathes
• Program/Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters
• Lift raw materials, final products and items packed for shipment

• Operate machinery used in the production process -- VMC or CNC Machines

• Use of Micrometers and Calipers

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years of CNC or VMC Operation
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics and Program/Set Up Machines/Use of Micrometers and Calipers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

We have openings on 1st shift with a starting pay of $18 hr - $20.00 plus overtime as needed. These are long term temp to hire positions.
