Job description

NOW HIRING – 2ND SHIFT MACHINE OPERATORS!

Location: North Fort Worth, TX
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay: $19/hr + $2/hr shift differential once transitioned to 2nd shift


Protech Staffing is hiring experienced Machine Operators for immediate openings in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with experience operating machinery, working with sheet metal, performing quality checks, and using basic hand tools.


Machine Operator Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate machinery, including de-coil and orbital wrapping equipment
  • Cut and process sheet metal from coil stock to required lengths
  • Load materials and monitor automated machine operations
  • Package finished products using protective stretch film for shipment
  • Perform and document quality checks to ensure product accuracy
  • Inspect finished products for quality and proper packaging
  • Use a tape measure accurately to the 1/16" scale
  • Use basic hand tools, including cordless drills, saws, nail/staple guns, and other equipment
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work area


Requirements:

  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be fluent in reading a tape measure to the 1/16"
  • Experience with automated machinery is a plus
  • Forklift experience highly preferred
  • Must be able to work the full shift and mandatory overtime as needed
  • Must have an updated resume to be considered
