Job Description

This position offers an opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator to operate a CNC laser machine and support a variety of other production equipment in a clean, organized fabrication environment. You will work hands-on with machinery, follow detailed instructions, and contribute to high-quality production while collaborating with a supportive, team-oriented workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a CNC laser machine to cut materials to precise specifications, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Set up machines by configuring tooling, adjusting controls, and verifying correct settings before and during production runs.
  • Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and work instructions to determine material requirements, cutting parameters, and production priorities.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment to identify and resolve minor issues that may affect machine performance or product quality.
  • Conduct minor maintenance tasks on machines as needed to support reliable operation and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished products to verify measurements, tolerances, and overall quality meet required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards and promptly addressing potential hazards.
  • Assist with operating other production equipment as part of cross-training efforts to support overall production needs.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, production guidelines, and standard operating procedures throughout each shift.
