Hiring CNC Operators Immediately - 1st Shift!

API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. We have a new mission, new leaders, and are accelerating our path to Lean Cultural Change. Our Production team is expanding, and we are seeking an additional CNC Operator - Second Shift in Iron Ridge.

 What You Will Do: 

The CNC Operator requirements include but are not limited to Set-Up and operation of the following machinery: 

  • CNC Milling Center: Program, Set-up and operate new Haas VF6 with rotary 4th axis.
  • Visualize and forward think the best machining practices necessary to complete parts.
  • Create and adjust programs, Tool setting, Fixture set up.
  • Apply knowledge of metal properties in relation to machinability of materials (e.g., cutting speed and feed rates for material being machined).
  • Perform part inspection using micrometers, calipers, height indicator, etc.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all API Heat Transfer policies for behavior with the workplace.
  • Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality Standards, policies and procedure of API Heat Transfer.

What You Bring:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with two years minimum of related combined experience.
  • Basic set up experience on lathes and/or Machining centers.
  • Ability to read and alter programs.
