This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure production goals are consistently met.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1-3 years of experience in rotational molding or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.Proficiency in basic to intermediate shop math and blueprint reading.Experience with CRM and ERP systems is strongly preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.Capable of retaining detailed instructions and working independently.Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. safely.Positive attitude and ability to work constructively with team members.Experience operating warehouse equipment (or willingness to train).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSet up and operate rotational molding machines in accordance with daily production schedules.Ensure products are manufactured to specification by monitoring machine indicators, performing in-process inspections, and adjusting as needed.Interpret and follow production orders, blueprints, and work instructions for mold setups, temperatures, and cycle times.Regulate machine settings, including pressure, temperature, speed, and feed rates, using controls and dials.Inspect finished products for visual defects and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring tools.Perform routine mold maintenance and preparation to ensure optimal machine performance.Trim, deburr, and prepare molded parts as necessary to meet quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all housekeeping protocols.Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines.Identify and recommend improvements to production methods, machine performance, and product quality.Demonstrate consistent and punctual attendance and communicate schedule changes in advance.Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.Willingness to work overtime and cross-train in other manufacturing roles as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.ACCOUNTABILITIESConduct precise measurements and visual inspections of finished products to identify surface or dimensional defects, ensuring compliance with quality specifications using appropriate measuring instruments.Monitor the continuous operation of automated molding equipment to verify production quality, detect malfunctions, and make real-time adjustments. Report issues outside operator control to maintenance personnel promptly.Set up, operate, and monitor plastic molding, casting, or core-making machines to produce thermoplastic parts in accordance with production requirements.Adjust machine controls-such as valves, dials, and timers-to regulate pressure, temperature, speed, feed rates, and cycle times as specified.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine correct machine settings, molding parameters, and production sequences.Perform routine mold maintenance and preparation to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime.Trim, deburr, and prepare molded parts as needed to meet product quality standards.Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency, equipment performance, and overall product quality.PHYSICAL DEMANDSRoutinely required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach,Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.Lifting to 50 lbs. independently and utilizing moving equipment for heavierVision requirements include close and distance, color, and peripheral and depth vision.Noise level for this work environment is moderate.WORKING CONDITIONSWork performed primarily on the production floor, frequently operating machinery.May involve elevated temperatures and moderate to high noise levels.Requires both independent and collaborative work in production teams.BENEFITSIncludes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid vacation and sick time.
