Key Responsibilities for Finishing Operator include:

  • Performing manual and machine operator tasks as related to a variety of finishing operations
  • Inspecting for printing defects, requiring close attention to detail
  • Boxing completed orders produced in finishing in preparation for shipping
  • Preparing appropriate quality sign-off documentation for assigned tasks
  • Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned finishing equipment
  • Working closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of finishing operations

The ideal candidate for Finishing Operator must demonstrate:

  • Ability to make fact-based decisions and troubleshoot print and press problems to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies (hardware and software)

Education, Skills, and Experience for Finishing Operator:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
  • Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
  • Preferred: One or more years’ experience in a similar role in printing
