Lumentruss a pour objectif de devenir une entreprise de l’éclairage architectural à l’avant-garde du développement de systèmes d’éclairage intégrés pour les segments de marché nord-américains des bureaux, commerces, hôtels et institutions.

Lumentruss recherche un opérateur de machines minutieux et doté d'un esprit technique pour soutenir la production de produits d'éclairage architectural de haute qualité. Le titulaire de ce poste sera chargé de faire fonctionner, de régler et d'entretenir les équipements de production, notamment des scies de découpe de précision, des machines de moulage par injection et une machine d'encapsulation à commande numérique (CNC).

L'opérateur de machine jouera un rôle important en veillant à ce que les pièces soient produites de manière sûre, précise et efficace, tout en respectant les normes de qualité de Lumentruss. Ce poste est idéal pour une personne qui apprécie le travail technique pratique, qui tire sa fierté de la fabrication de précision et qui est à l'aise avec l'utilisation d'équipements spécialisés dans un environnement de production au rythme soutenu.

La maîtrise du français est requise. L’anglais est considéré comme un atout.

Vos principales responsabilités seront les suivantes

  • Opérer les équipements de production (scie et machine Demak) conformément aux spécifications techniques et aux normes de sécurité.
  • Lire et interpréter les plans techniques afin d’assurer le respect des dimensions, tolérances et exigences de fabrication.
  • Effectuer les ajustements de base et l’entretien préventif des machines afin d’en assurer la performance optimale.
  • Surveiller la qualité de la production et identifier toute non-conformité ou anomalie.
  • Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, sécuritaire et organisé.
  • S’adapter aux priorités changeantes afin de soutenir l’efficacité des opération

Compétences et qualifications requisent:

  • Un diplôme en techniques de génie mécanique ou équivalent est un atout.
  • Capacité à lire et à interpréter des dessins techniques (cotes, tolérances, vues, annotations).
  • Capacité à lire et à suivre des consignes de travail, des plans de fabrication, des mesures et des spécifications.
  • Aisance dans l'utilisation d'outils de mesure tels que des mètres rubans, des pieds à coulisse, des jauges ou d'autres outils d'inspection.
  • Bonne compréhension des symboles et des instructions de fabrication.

Lumentruss aims to become an architectural lighting company at the forefront of developing integrated lighting systems for the North American office, retail, hotel, and institutional market segments.

Lumentruss is looking for a detail-oriented and technically minded Machine Operator to support the production of high-quality architectural lighting products. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining production equipment, including precision cutting saws, injection molding machines, and a CNC-operated encapsulation machine.

The Machine Operator will play an important role in ensuring that parts are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining Lumentruss’ quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in precision manufacturing, and is comfortable working with specialized equipment in a fast-paced production environment

French is required. English is considered an asset.

Your main responsabilties will be the following:

  • Operate production equipment (saw and Demak machine) in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure compliance with dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Perform basic adjustments and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor production quality and identify any non-conformities or irregularities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent is an asset.
