Job Description: Architectural Systems, Inc. in Aurora, MO is looking to hire a first shift CNC machine operator.
About Us: In 1998, Scott Beckwith & Charlie Locher set out to form a business partnership in Southwest Missouri. With over 60 years of combined experience, they co-founded Architectural Systems Inc. in Monett, Missouri.
Starting with a hand full of employees, ASI hit the ground running and has since established itself as a full-service fabrication and engineering company. With locations in Monett, Aurora, and Granby Missouri, ASI is expanding. Growing for business and the local community!
Job Summary: This position has a Production 3 job tier rating.
  • Monday-Friday: 5AM-2:30PM
  • Saturday: 5AM-10AM (As needed)
  • All shifts are subject to change based on work load and season.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines.
  • Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, drilling).
  • Strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures.
