Description
** This is a full-time weekend shift position working Friday through Sunday on 12-hour shifts. Team Members are expected to maintain attendance, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting production requirements. **
Description:
CNC Operators operate computer-controlled machines to perform machining and fabrication operations on metal or plastic workpieces. This role is responsible for safely producing quality parts by following work instructions, maintaining equipment, supporting continuous improvement, and upholding the Quality Management System at XLT Ovens.
This position performs duties consistently, accurately, timely, safely, and at the lowest feasible cost, while demonstrating pride of workmanship and a team-first mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Abide by the company's Quality Management System
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Protect the company's assets, reputation, goodwill, and marketplace stature at all costs

Essential Functions:
This position will perform the below listed duties consistently, accurately, timely, safely, and at the lowest feasible cost:
  • Set up, operate, and/or tend CNC fabrication machines according to work instructions
  • Perform deburring and secondary operations as required
  • Conduct testing and basic troubleshooting of parts and processes
  • Perform quality control checks and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain equipment daily, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting
  • Review maintenance and operations logs daily
  • Maintain shop equipment and tools in safe working condition
  • Perform stocking and inventory control functions
  • Support material movement and organization as required
  • Help develop and improve work instructions for CNC operations
  • Assist in evaluating new processes, procedures, and equipment
  • Support 5S and housekeeping standards in machining and assembly areas
  • Observe all safety rules and report hazards immediately
  • Abide by the Quality Management System and quality policies
  • Understand that customer satisfaction is our top priority
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the President or leadership team
