Job description

Position Description: 2nd Shift: 1:00pm - 9:30pmโ€ข Set up and prove out CNC machines for production. Provide a good first article part to Q.C. Load all tooling and tools.
โ€ข Machine fixtures and parts for tooling use in operations
โ€ข Start and shut down CNC machines as trained when required
โ€ข Monitor tools and cutters for proper insertion and dullness
โ€ข Report and bring back to the production manager with any broken tools. All tools and cutters will be bought through the production manager.
โ€ข Monitor coolant levels and PH levels. Keep machines at 6PH for alum and 10ph for steels
โ€ข Make sure at all times that proper safety procedures are being utilized and work area is clean and safe.
โ€ข At any time there is a problem with operation of equipment, or you feel machine is not set up and running in a safe manner; stop running, turn off machine and notify a Supervisor immediately.
โ€ข If at any time another employee needs assistance or you see they need help, please offer assistance and or notify a Supervisor.
โ€ข Other duties as required by Management

As a CNC Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. You will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, along with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, to ensure high-quality output. Experience with measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, and calipers is a must.
